FANUC Corporation has released CNC Reflection Studio as a new machine function. Specifically, CNC Reflection Studio is a software tool that enables the checking of machine motions on a PC. This software enables collision checks using machine, fixture, or tool geometry. It also checks the removal of workpiece material. Additionally, it integrates a functional machining program editor.

By collaborating with the CNC GUIDE 2, the software offers the following advantages over general machine simulation software: 1) Accurate G-code program execution including various cycles and macro programs; 2) Precise tool path check considering acceleration/deceleration and smoothing functions; and 3) Reliable CNC parameter check on how it effects on machine motions.

The said advantages make it easy to improve CNC parameters and machining programs on a PC.

Moreover, the new software supports a machining center system with 1 path and up to 5 axes as machine configuration.
