Tokyo Electron announced that its development and manufacturing subsidiary, Tokyo Electron Technology Solutions, has completed its new development building. Accordingly, the company graced a completion ceremony Friday for the new building. The new building lies at the Hosaka Office in Nirasaki City in Japan’s Yamanashi Prefecture,

The new development building has a total floor area of approximately 21,000sq.m. The company started the construction in December 2021.
The primary purpose of the building is to develop semiconductor production equipment. This includes deposition and gas chemical etch systems. In addition, it will focus on development of patterning and process integration technologies
