Bosch Rexroth Boosts Reliable Tools For Better Results

Bosch Rexroth is revving up its factory automation portfolio to offer a comprehensive array of solutions that go beyond merely advanced components. Particularly, the company is harnessing its digital engineering tools and personalized support to address complex engineering challenges.

At the annual Automate Show, which will take place from May 6 to 9 in Chicago, Illinois, Bosch Rexroth will showcase its full lineup of factory automation solutions. Accordingly, the company will highlight interactive exhibits and live demonstrations of working systems.

Among the highlights is the Flexible Transport System (FTS), combining precision and speed like never before. Moreover, it integrates a Kassow collaborative robot. Other demos include the company’s mainstay systems. Namely, the ctrlX AUTOMATION, the Smart Conveyance Demo, and the NEXO annd OPEX tightening systems.

“Our team of factory automation specialists will be on hand to provide invaluable insights and guidance on crafting effective strategies for complete factory automation solutions,” Bosch Rexroth said. In addition, it said experts will be available at their ooth to offer innovative approaches. Thus, ensuring visitors will have smarter and more productive solutions.

ctrlX AUTOMATION

This unique, four-sided demo illustrates the modularity and scalability of ctrlX AUTOMATION. On the other hand, presenting an overview of ctrlX DRIVE and ctrlX CORE hardware capabilities.

On display is a three-axis ctrlX DRIVE linked to a ctrlX CORE industrial PC running in real-time. Other components, such as ctrlX IO, ctrlX HMI and the MS2N synchronous motor will also take the stage. In addition, the exhibit demonstrates how ctrlX CORE supports modern languages for today’s industrial machinery, such as Java, Python and Node Red, plus many other application-appropriate languages.

Flexible Transport System (FTS)

The Flexible Transport System comes combined with the TS2 to create a fast, precise, and flexible conveyor system. Moreover, the linear motor-driven FTS section allows high-speed positioning of workpiece pallets with bi-directional, synchronous, or asynchronous moves. The FTS comes with a lightweight and maneuverable Kassow Robot.

Smart Conveyance Demo

Meanwhile, this conveyor demo showcases Rexroth’s diverse technologies, featuring the company’s unique aluminum structural framing. Also, the TS2 plus palletized assembly conveyor for assembly solutions.

Compact modules use three linear axes to form a Cartesian robot, automating assembly with Rexroth’s linear motion components. The system also employs an open PLC platform with versatile communication capabilities.

Smart Function Kit for Handling

On the other hand, Bosch Rexroth’s Smart Function Kit for Handling is an innovative preassembled multi-axis robot. Specifically, it comes tailored with standardized modules and components, which works together quickly to form smart subsystems. Simply select and adapt the basic type online, configure and order it, and commission it with software guidance.

Furthermore, Rexroth’s best-in-class components can create smart mechatronics solutions for the Factory of the Future, with minimal use of resources.

Tightening Technology

Finally, visitors can experience a whole new world of tightening technology and demo the latest additions to Bosch Rexroth’s tightening system portfolio. The new NEXO nutrunner and the OPEX digital torque wrench.

These tightening systems seamlessly integrate into conveying systems, aluminum framing workstations, and more. Most importantly, it incorporates the complete control directly inside the device, while keeping its sleek, cordless design.
