Cisco, Splunk Deal to Offer Better Security in AI Era

Coming from its recent acquisition of Splunk, Cisco has solidified its position as a formidable global software company. Together, Cisco and Splunk will be able to advance further a more secure AI revolution for its customers.

Moreover, in an online media roundtable, Cisco, supercharged by Splunk, has conveyed a unified message of bringing growth and innovation to the Asia Pacific region.

Present in the press briefing were Dave West, President, Asia Pacific, Japan, and Greater China, Cisco and Simon Davies, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Asia Pacific at Splunk. Specifically, both West and Davies said the two companies will continue to provide industry-leading solutions in the region. At the same time, a better system of delivering unapparelled visibility and insights across the entire digital footprint.

Integration Roadmap and Focus

During the press briefing, West said Cisco and Splunk will together focus on enhancing security through the integration of Cisco’s Talos threat intelligence into Splunk’s platform. Furthermore, the acquisition will also bring together AI assistants to streamline the two companies’ security operations. Thus, delivering simplicity to customers as quickly as possible. 

On the other hand, Davies underscored how the merger will empower the two companies to offer more robust solutions. Particularly, the integration of Splunk’s AI, security, and visibility tools with Cisco’s security and network expertise aims to build resilient enterprises.

In addition, both Cisco and Splunk have guaranteed they will collectively engage with their respective partners worldwide. Specifically, the two will strive to streamline the partner ecosystems to further enhance collaboration and drive partner success.
