Global technology distributor and solutions provider Avnet has expanded its global integration network as it opened its new Avnet Integrated Solutions facility in Singapore. As a result, the company is able to respond immediately to its customers and help them navigate increasingly complex supply chain strategies across the Asia Pacific region.
The new site extends Avnet’s regional integration capabilities and directly supports customer demand for China‑plus‑one supply chain models. By adding localized integration capacity in Singapore, Avnet provides customers with greater flexibility, resilience, and choice as they diversify manufacturing and logistics footprints across APAC.

The Singapore facility marks Avnet Integrated Solutions’ sixth integration center worldwide. It complements existing sites in Chandler, Arizona; Guadalajara and Nogales, Mexico; Eschbach, Germany; and Tianjin, China. Together, these locations form a connected, multi‑region footprint designed to support customers at scale and align integration services with regional market needs.
The Singapore site enhances the distributor’s capacity to serve customers across Asia without requiring changes in partners or processes as solutions move from distribution to more integration‑ready offerings.
Located within Avnet’s existing Farnell Distribution Center in Singapore, the new integration facility is purpose‑built to support system, server, and rack build services, alongside international shipping operations. This co‑location enables tighter coordination between distribution and integration, helping to streamline workflows and improve lead times for customers throughout the region.

The site is certified under Singapore Customs’ Secure Trade Partnership (STP) program, which recognizes organizations with robust supply chain security and trade compliance practices. Avnet is also pursuing ISO 9001 certification for the facility, underscoring a focus on quality management and standardized operational excellence.
The Singapore integration center spans approximately 670 square meters, which includes dedicated integration space, warehousing, a repair depot, and a first article lab. The layout was deliberately designed to support future expansion, allowing Avnet to scale capacity over time as regional customer demand increases.
By enabling localized integration services in Singapore, Avnet aims to deliver improved lead times and competitive cost structures for customers facing shifting global market dynamics. The facility supports organizations as they transition from traditional distribution models toward more complex, integration‑driven solutions—while maintaining continuity across the supply chain.
The opening of the Singapore facility directly reflects how customers are rethinking global supply chain strategies, particularly as China‑plus‑one approaches gain momentum. Singapore’s role as a regional and global logistics hub positions it as a critical connector for multinational operations across Asia and beyond.
“The opening of our Singapore integration facility is a direct response to how our customers are rethinking their global supply chains,” said Rebeca Obregon, President of Global Farnell and Integrated Solutions. “Singapore plays a critical role in connecting regional and global operations, and by expanding our integration capabilities in the region, we’re operating as one connected network—giving customers greater flexibility, faster access to localized support, and more options to manage risk while accelerating time to market.”
