Yaskawa Electric Corporation has released the industry’s first YRM-X (ten) controller as part of its i³-Mechatronics solution concept. The new controller synchronizes various data of cells that compose devices and/or industrial robots at high speed, in real time, and in chronological order for integrated motion control.

i³-Mechatronics was announced in 2017 as a new solution that adds digital data management to existing automation solutions in order to realize revolutionary industrial automation, which was set forth in its long-term business plan “Vision 2025”. The company has been developing new products, including the latest controller, to bring this concept to fruition.
