Meiko Electronics Co., Ltd. announced that its Board of Directors has resolved to enter a business alliance with Aoshikang Technology Co., Ltd. (ASK) for printed circuit board (PCB) business.

Mainly, Meiko is expanding its production capacity in Vietnam. Particularly, this aims to meet the growing demand for printed circuit boards in the ASEAN region. As a result, it has decided to form a business alliance with ASK to quickly respond to the growing demand.

Meanwhile, ASK has been seeking for a business partnership for its manufacturing facility in Thailand, which is under construction.

Now, both companies have agreed on a business alliance for the production and sales of through-hole printed circuit boards.

Details of the Business Alliance

Specifically, JIARUIAN Pte. Ltd. (JIARUIAN (Singapore)), a wholly owned subsidiary of ASK, will increase its capital. In relation, Meiko Group will subscribe US$20 million for up to 14.9% of the shareholding. Accordingly, it will then manage JIARUIAN’s production subsidiary in Sundell Technology Co., Ltd. (Thailand).
