Dexerials Corporation has announced the construction of a new factory in a new area in Kanuma City in Japan’s Tochigi Prefecture. Accordingly, the site was the subject of its land acquisition last January.
The company expects the new plant to begin operation in FY 2026.
Currently, the anisotropic conductive film (ACF) the company manufactures at Kanuma Plant No. 2 has held the top global share* 2 for five consecutive years. Specifically, for displays used in smartphones, automobiles, and other products. Thus, the demand is likely to continue expanding as applications expand.
Accordingly, there is a shift in display technology from liquid crystal to flexible organic light-emitting diode (OLED), the spread of micro LEDs, and sensor module mounting applications. Moreover, the construction of the new plant is likely to become an investment to increase production capacity in the medium- to long-term growth of ACF. Thus, this is in line with the Mid-term Management Plan *3 of the company announced in May.
In addition, Dexerial’s new factory is aiming to become a smart factory and a zero emission building. Thus, it is preparing to become a sustainable factory by introducing a cogeneration system with BCP in mind.
Dexerials will continue to adhere to its management philosophy of “Integrity – Sincerity and Sincerity” in a changing society and environment. furthermore, it will provide high-added-value products, technologies, and solutions that are essential to the evolution of digital technology. In this way, Dexerials aim to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society, achieve sustainable growth, and increase our corporate value.
