Tamura Corporation has established a new wholly-owned subsidiary in Romania. Particularly, TAMURA ELECTRONICS ROMANIA CO. S.R.L. will produce to produce chargers and other module products, like power supplies and adapters, in response to growing demand in Europe. The new production base forms part of the company’s Electronic Components Business. The company will begin commercial production by November 2024.

Mainly, Tamura aims to grow its business globally, especially in the European and American regions. This objective was laid down in its 13th Medium-Term Management Plan, which started in April 2022. As part of this initiative, it plans to increase the module product production capacity in Europe. Moreover, it plans to diversify its manufacturing footprint globally.

With the addition of the Romanian site, Tamura aims to strengthen its presence in Europe. Additionally, it plans to contribute to the development of the country through the stable production and supply of products going forward.
