Connector leader Japan Aviation Electronics Industry, Ltd. (JAE) has released the DW11 Series compact floating board-to-board connector with a power supply rated current of 20A DC and voltage of 250V DC. This connector series will float ±0.8mm in the X and Y directions to compensate for misalignment during the automated mating process.
The amount of data required to be handled by various equipment and devices is constantly increasing. Moreover, the boards used require a large power supply to process this data at high speeds. Often, when connecting two connector-mounted boards, the proper mating surfaces are not visible. This requires a floating mechanism within the connector that can absorb positional misalignment between boards.
To this end, JAE has released the DW11 Series compact high-power floating board-to-board connector that meets these needs. Specifically, this product supports power supply with a rated current of 20A DC and voltage of 250V DC, while capable of floating ±0.8mm in the X and Y directions by incorporating JAE’s unique contact structure. It operates from -45 to +80°C and guarantees durability at 30 cycles.
The DW11 Series connectors suit a wide range of board-to-board power supply applications. These range from communications infrastructure equipment, ICT equipment, industrial equipment, measurement equipment, broadcasting equipment, and other equipment and devices.
JAE strives to accommodate the diverse needs of its customers by constantly innovating new products.
