HIOKI to Put up New Technical Centers in Japan

HIOKI Electric Co., Ltd. has announced it will establish new technical centers in Yokohama and Osaka sales offices from August 2024 in stages. Primarily, the establishment of the new technical centers aims to realize innovative measurement solutions.

As part of the company’s growth strategy, it is working on “product development with the indispensability of HIOKI” and “product development based on the market”.

In the future, the company will leverage the Technical Centers as a co-creation facility with its customers and collaborate with companies to discover and solve new issues and develop unique products.

Objectives

By setting up co-creation facilities at two bases covering eastern Japan and western Japan, respectively, Hoiki aims to solve problems faster. Also, it aims to achieve higher quality with its customers and collaborating companies better than ever.

Facility Overview

Specifically, the Yokohama Technical Center, located in EPIC TOWER SHIN YOKOHAMA in Kanagawa Prefecture will open on August 23, 2024. It will perform measurement related to automotive, electronic devices, and water electrolysis/fuel cells. It will be equipped with motor benches, power analyzers, partial discharge test equipment, probers, etc.

Meanwhile, the Osaka Technical Center will open on September 2, 2024. It is located at the 2NK Building in Osaka Prefecture. The Osaka Technical Center will perform measurements related to secondary batteries, water electrolysis/fuel cells, and other electrochemical devices. It will be equipped with battery cell/module evaluation equipment, various materials/component evaluation equipment, automotive battery modules, various jigs, etc.
