New Cincoze PCs Offer HMI for Smart Manufacturing

Taiwanese rugged computer brand Cincoze has released the Display Computing – CRYSTAL product line designed for human-machine interface (HMI) applications in harsh environments. Mainly, the CRYSTAL product line includes three series: industrial panel PCs for harsh indoor environments; sunlight-readable panel PCs for outdoor high-brightness conditions; and open-frame industrial panel PCs for seamless integration with machines. Primarily, industrial-grade rugged protection and international standards compliance, along with nearly a hundred combinations of computing performance, screen size, display ratios, and touch methods, provide a comprehensive solution for any HMI application.

Smart Manufacturing HMI—Industrial Panel PCs

Cincoze industrial panel PCs (CV-100/P series) are recommended for HMI applications, such as the machine monitoring system, materials management system, and factory environmental control. This would help to make factories smart and enhance market competitiveness. The series has Intel® Atom®, Pentium®, and Core™ processor options to suit a range of applications, providing rich I/O interfaces to connect with other devices for data display and analysis. Also, it has expansion ports (Mini PCIe or M.2 Key E) for wireless communication modules to transmit data to the control center.

Meanwhile, the diverse and complete range of display options is a highlight for Cincoze customers, with sizes from 8.4” to 24”, display ratios from 4:3 to 16:9, and P-CAP and resistive touchscreens. Moreover, the series is highly rugged and has industrial protections, including wide temperature (-20°C to 70°C), wide voltage (9 to 48 VDC), overvoltage, overcurrent, and ESD protection to ensure stability in industrial environments.

Outdoor High-brightness Applications—Sunlight-Readable Panel PCs

Additionally, Cincoze sunlight readable industrial panel PCs (CS-100/P series) solve the problem of reading displays in sunlight with a high brightness backlight up to 1800 nits and backlight life of 50,000 hours, making the display content clearly visible. Multiple display size options are available and the rugged design and high stability make this series particularly suitable for the outdoors and are an ideal solution for outdoor HMI applications such as interactive information stations, charging piles, automatic ticket machines, and more.

Also, the series boasts IP65 waterproof and dustproof front panels, aluminum die-casting frames for shock resistance, and 7H hardness touch. They support wide temperatures (-20°C to 70°C) and have passed or complied with multiple international certifications and standards, including UL safety certification, anti-vibration/shock (IEC 60068-2-27/64), Sinusoidal Vibration Testing (IEC 60068-2-6), and EMC (EN 61000-6-2/4) to prove their robustness and reliability and ensure long-term reliable operation in the harsh outdoors.

Perfect Machine Integration—Open Frame Panel PC

Cincoze open frame panel PCs (CO-100/P series) are for equipment manufacturers and feature a patented adjustable design (Patent no.: D224544, D224545, I802427) with thickness adjustment options and multiple locking methods (panel, boss, and self-tapping types). This design easily adapts to fit control cabinets of various materials and thicknesses, simplifying the installation process. It is suitable for flat and standard mounting, ensuring a high degree of consistency with the appearance of the machine.

In contrast with traditional open-frame panel PCs, Cincoze makes deployment more efficient by integrating the components and wires into the product body, reducing the amount of customization needed and maintenance costs. The series continues the consistent rugged design and high-quality features of Cincoze panel PCs, with patented CDS technology (Patent no.: M482908) that enables customers to replace only a single module (the display or computer) when the panel PC needs repair. Its plug-and-play functionality reduces downtime and lowers maintenance costs.
