LITEON Boosts Smart Factories in New Vietnam Plant

LITEON Technology has recently announced the official inauguration of its second phase of manufacturing facility in Haiphong, Vietnam.

Accordingly, the new facility demonstrates the company’s pitch towards Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing. For that reason, LITEON is equipping the facility with highly automated and highly digitalized advanced technologies. This include big data, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things. Hence, the company plays a key role to manufacture networking and consumer electronics products.

Tom Soong, Chairman of LITEON Technology, said the company is accelerating its global diversified operation. In addition, Soong said “(We) are expanding production capacity in the United States, Mexico, Thailand, and Vietnam. We are also looking for new locations to connect various resources with R&D centers and manufacturing bases around the world.”

“(We are) providing customers localized and integrated service with agile, flexible, and high-quality production to fulfill their needs,” Soong said.
