ABB to Offer Better Emission Monitoring in New Buyout

ABB has signed an agreement to acquire Födisch Group, a leading developer of advanced measurement and analytical solutions for the energy and industrial sectors.

Accordingly, the acquisition enhances ABB’s offering in continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS). Moreover, it also bolsters its competitiveness in technology and innovation.

Through the acquisition, ABB will widen its portfolio to meet customers’ most demanding measurement challenges. Födisch Group reported about €50 million in revenue and approximately 250 employees in 2023. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.

Headquartered in Markranstädt, Germany, where it operates a 3,000m2 production facility, Födisch Group’s solutions address environmental and certification challenges across industries.
