ASTEELFLASH Widens Footprint with New Poland Facility

On 29th Oct., ASTEELFLASH celebrated the grand opening of its newly constructed production facility in Biskupice Podgórne, near Wrocław, Poland. Primarily, this latest investment of US$19 million further strengthens USI and ASTEELFLASH capabilities in Europe. Thus, it enhances production for box build lines and high-level assembly specifically in the high-volume manufacturing in automotive and industrial sectors. ASTEELFLASH is a member of USI Inc.

The new building covers a total area of 14,400sq.m, including 6,655sq.m of state-of-the-art clean room production shop floor. Also, the new site will enable USI and ASTEELFLASH to better meet the demands of its European clients. Further, it will expand its service portfolio to support the increasing requirements for advanced production and assembly capabilities.

The event was attended by distinguished guests. Among them include the Mayor of Kobierzyce District, representatives from the ARP Branch Office, ERBUD, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, and 2MPM. These valued partners and supporters reflect USI and ASTEELFLASH strong local and international connections and its commitment to investing in Poland’s industrial future.

During the opening ceremony, Brian Shih, the Chairman of USI Poland and SVP of USI Inc., emphasized the company’s commitment to growth in Europe. He said, “This factory isn’t just a finished project. It shows how much USI is dedicated to Poland and how we’re committed to growing in a way that’s good for everyone. We’re proud to have been here for a long time and will keep investing in this community. This new place will help our customers and partners, not just in Poland, but all over Europe.”

Nicolas Denis, CEO of ASTEELFLASH, also spoke at the event. He highlighted the role of the new plant. “Our expanded facility here in Wroclaw ensures we can meet the needs of our clients as the market grows, providing them with the advanced manufacturing capabilities and capacity they need to succeed. Our commitment also extends to responsible growth. This facility was designed with sustainability in mind, incorporating energy-efficient systems and environmentally friendly practices to reduce our footprint. We are growing in a way that respects the environment and the future of the communities we serve.”

“With this expansion, we aim to set new standards for our industry and hope to inspire others to invest not only in technology but also in the environment and society Denis continued.”

During the inauguration ceremony, Piotr Kopeć, Mayor of Kobierzyce District, expressed his admiration for the swift and dedicated efforts that went into constructing the new building, saying, “From the video, it all takes so short and happens so quickly, yet we know the immense time and effort it truly required. We’re honored to have this business group within our community and deeply appreciate your presence here. I was especially moved by Mr. Brian Shih’s words that a company is built by its people, not by its buildings. Our doors are open to support you, and I wish you continued growth and success on this momentous day.”

The closing remarks were delivered by Felix Timmermann, Executive Vice President of ASTEELFLASH. He emphasized the company’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction. “We are dedicated to delivering cutting-edge products that meet and exceed our customers’ needs and expectations,” he stated. “As we embark on this new chapter, I am confident that our factory will become a hub of innovation, creativity, and success. Together, we will continue to uphold the values of integrity, quality, and excellence in all that we do.”

Moreover, the new facility embodies the commitment of USI and ASTEELFLASH to growth and innovation. Primarily, it strengthens its role as a leading partner in the high-volume manufacturing in Automotive and Industrial sectors across Europe. Designed with energy-efficient systems and environmentally friendly practices, this expansion demonstrates its dedication to both technological progress and environmental responsibility.
