For example, a food manufacturer may want to introduce preventive maintenance for their processing equipment to achieve consistent quality of their products. At the same time, to ensure maximum up-time of their production lines. Here, the customer would be looking for a solution to achieve their specific goal.

With the renewal, Mitsubishi Electric’s showroom will be able to provide hints and suggestions to customers through a wider array of solution-based demonstrations. Some of the topics covered include the use of AI to diagnose production or machine abnormalities. Particularly, this is useful for predictive and preventive maintenance of FA equipment or remote the monitoring of production sites. Clearly, these are crucial topics to combat the loss of skilled workers.

Mitsubishi Electric will also promote co-innovation activities with customers by streamlining the use of the showroom. This showroom can host ideas for discussions together with the on-site test laboratory to try those ideas. In addition, the FATEC Training School located within the same premises will also elaborate on these ideas. Hence, the showroom will provide customers with one-stop support for their innovation in manufacturing.
