Mobileye, ZEEKR Cooperate to Develop Ultra-Sophisticated ADAS

Mobileye, a subsidiary of Intel Corp. is partnering with Chinese electric mobility technology brand ZEEKR to field a highly advanced camera system for ADAS.

The camera image sensor processor maker will cooperate with ZEEKR, the electric vehicle system brand of Geely Group of China to develop a highly sophisticated and intelligent ADAS.

Geely Holding Group is China’s car maker that promotes a variety of EV, or electric vehicle models under ZEEKR.

The automotive group has been producing a wide variety of vehicles under the likes of world-famous brandnames including Volvo, Lotus           

Trademarked as SuperVision, the fully-to-be stacked ADAS solution will come built with Mobileye’s two EyeQ SoCs that can simultaneously process data from 12 in-vehicle cameras.

The solution will be embedded in the ADAS solutions of ZEEKR’s EV models that will be launched in the fourth quarter of 2021.

Both of the two companies will also work together to develop a next generation of ADAS that will come built with six EyeQ5 SoCs. The new solution is expected to make its global debut as soon as 2023.

Geely Group of China is now expanding its EV production ecosystem, working together with a wealth of partners to promote ZEEKR brand of EVs.
