Tamura Corporation has decided to construct new production facility in Sayama site in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. Particularly, this is one of the production sites of Electronic Chemicals/FA Systems Business Sector.

Mainly, the Electronic Chemicals and FA Systems business involves solder pastes, reactors and soldering equipment.

Primarily, the major business activities of Electronic Chemicals/FA Systems Business Sector are carried out at Iruma site, Sayama site and Kodama factory in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. Given the age of the building at Iruma, Tamura has decided to construct a new building at Sayama site. Also, it decided to move production and testing equipment of solder powder to the same location. The relocation would ensure the production efficiency improvement. Moreover, it would guarantee contribution to environment protection and enhance energy efficiency of the site and plant.

The target capital expenditure is at 5 billion yen. Meanwhile, the company aims for building completion in October 2025. 

Mainly, Tamura Group is transforming itself to lay a solid foundation for future, the 100th anniversary in 2024 and beyond, in accordance with its 13th Medium-term Management Plan, “Energize the Future 100”. Particularly, this relocation will enhance the strength of Electronic Chemicals and FA Systems Business. Also, it will contribute to the environmental protection and contribution to decarbonized society, a key initiative under its Sustainability strategy.
