OMRON Automation Americas will demonstrate the importance of artificial intelligence (AI) in its latest technologies and solutions. Particularly, the company will highlight these solutions at the forthcoming IPC APEX 2024, which will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.

Moreover, the company will present its latest X-Ray inspection machine, the VT-X850. This new new 3D CT X-Ray inspection system specifically suits electric vehicle (EV) surface mount technology (SMT) manufacturing lines.

The VT-X850 harnesses Omron’s proven CT X-ray inspection technology. moreover, it introduces enhanced inspection capabilities through a completely revamped image acquisition approach.

Designed to tackle heavy applications, the VT-X850 is a perfect solution when inspecting crucial components inside large enclosures. In addition, it also suits inspection of solder joints under tall stainless steel connectors or other features on dense and thick samples.
